Collections

“Collections” is a large, well established, and eclectic urban garden in the heart of midtown, which gets its moniker from the owner’s purposeful collecting of favorite plant families, variegated foliage, and garden art over the years. The garden is anchored by large collections of camellias, azaleas, and hollies, while perennials fill a pollinator garden and perimeter beds. Smaller collections of daylilies and roses provide spots of color and interest, as do various groundcovers and many plants growing in containers. Garden art, including both new and vintage decorative pieces, appears among the collections. The outdoor bathroom wall mural painted by a local artist is a highlight not to be missed. The soothing sounds of water flowing from sheet fountains into the pool lure one to linger.
