Honeypointe Garden on the Bayou
Honeypointe Garden on the Bayou is a delightful collection of garden spaces. Annuals, perennials, blueberries, blackberries and ornamental shrubs, as well as many native trees and a significant longleaf pine forest, are spread across approximately 7 acres. An intentional pollinator garden that supports our apiary of bee hives is continuously updated. The bayou attracts a multitude of various birds including eagles, near shore birds, ducks, osprey, and migratory birds and bring much entertainment with their habitation specialties. The grasslands, bayou and bay provide the perfect landscape for the peaceful settlement of our ‘flying friends’ and gardening passions. Most recently, a serenity garden was added take advantage of the surrounding space and lean into relaxation and reflection, enhanced with an arbor and swing. A diverse and lovely camellia garden further enhances the charm of this natural space. The diversity of planting bring hopes of having garden color throughout the year.
