Wonder-filled
Wonder-Filled, a small, mostly shade garden, is a garden of whimsy, of memories of friends and family and of small wonders waiting to be found. This garden is jam-packed with plants - the usual and the unusual - and “yard art”. Shade-loving plants provide blooms or beautiful foliage year-round: multiple varieties of the old faithful cast iron plant (Aspidistra), a collection of tractor seat plants (Farfugium), the tried-and-true wandering jew (Tradescantia) and gingers. A few hours of sun in the front yard provide basil, bell peppers, cucumbers, and oranges. The wonder happens with an eye on recycle, reuse, and budget.
